A different pace…
Stepping out of the little rustic caravan the morning air smells fresh and green, a synergy of peppermint trees and flowers, the scent of spring… the ground covered with a carpet of green grass sprinkled with tiny white daisies and clumps of freesias… artfully scattered around.
An idyllic bush oasis in the South West of Western Australia.

Melodic birdsong echoes through this tranquil haven, combining with the scenery and scent to create an atmosphere of calm… and peacefulness…
A wander through the bush during the morning, looking around for flowers to shoot.. they’re not hard to find around here that’s for sure.
Spider orchids growing here, donkey orchids over there, and the freesias everywhere… one pretty little flower at a time.
A beautiful Helena Gum Moth was resting on a blade of grass, gently fanning its wings dry… a gorgeous soft pinky brownish, almost salmony colour on a vibrantly green background.
Miss Maggie eating out of my hand… literally… and looking into my eyes as if she understands every word, while I chat away to her about nothing much at all.

Sitting around the campfire at night, a couple of glasses of red, & a camp cup of whiskey.
Looking up into the sky, the branches and leaves of the treetops create patterns against the night sky, while stars twinkle their way through to us below … our creativity sparked by the scene above.
Conversation flows with plans of upcoming projects and how those might work, how they could come together. There’s some exciting times ahead!

This idyllic bush hideout is hidden from sight, below the thick canopy above…
A quick stop at the beach before hitting the road…
That sense of calm while driving home…feeling so refreshed, revitalised, contented after such a sublime experience… and so blissed that even the slow heavy traffic doesn’t bother to you…
Don’t worry about the traffic, just drive… you’ll get there when you get there… 😌
