Black Friday…cha ching!

The first round of sales for the holiday season are well underway.

The Black Friday sales began at least a week early and rolled straight into Cyber Monday, then into the start of the Christmas sales.

I have to admit I like the Black Friday sales, it’s when I usually look to purchase or replace bigger ticket items, like my robot vacuum, Boris - one of my best ever purchase decisions from a couple of years ago, followed by the air conditioner unit I finally gave in and bought the following year - helping to make summers in Perth that much more comfortable.

This year I’ve replaced my several years old budget friendly Kings solar blanket with a slightly bigger but hopefully much better performing portable solar panel setup from a newer to the market Kickass brand, to keep that bigger fridge running, the drone, camera batteries and my laptop charged while camped on the beach and beyond.

I’m anticipating the brand change, while still affordable but maybe not as budget friendly, is a few levels up in quality 🤞🏻 You get what you pay for huh. I also replaced the 10 year old gas bottle (probably now way out of its service date) on the camper with a brand new one. That should work nicely with the water heater unit.

With the camper heading to the auto electrician shortly for some much needed attention, I think that will do for us for this year’s Sales… I can start to think about what I might like to swap out this time next year.

How did you go with Black Friday?
