Long weekend time…

The first long weekend of the year and we are getting back out there!

Jilly:
Operation roof fix completed - tick
Brand new tyres - tick
A long weekend - tick

Jack:
Resting in the garage for too long - tick
Keen to get out and hit some gravel roads - tick
A long weekend - tick
Drone & camera batteries charged - tick
All updates completed - tick

Looks like the crew is all ready to hit the road and get back out on those long, straight, ribbon-like roads.

Jilly is travelling light this trip, while Jack carries most of the supplies for this one. I might have a trust issue or two with Jilly at the moment, and am a little wary of packing much in her for this trip; her first venture out since that first fateful trip. She can carry some water to help weigh her down.

Im sure she’ll be fine, but…just in case things go south again, I’ll be able to reach my supplies easily at least, with my back-up bed all ready in the back of Jack.

It’s going to be hot, it will be a little sticky, but it will be amazing. We’ll be ‘out the back’ somewhere completely new, somewhere that looks pretty exciting.

A final check before we hit the road..and we’re off!
