Shadows…

As the earth orbits the sun, daytime to night and around again, the light casts shadows across the land.

Trees become multi dimensional, a painted artwork across the landscape.

From the early morning blue hues to the warm golden sunrise, long elongated shapes of trees and structures are silhouetted onto the ground.

The white harsh light of the midday hours casts a stubby, short shadow until the path around the sun once again lengthens the shadows again into warm golden tones through the later afternoon into sunset.

Looking down from above through the lens of my little fleet of drones, I enjoy watching those shadows as they transition throughout the daylight hours.

Painted across the land… long and slim at each end of the day, less so during the midday hours, creating shelter from the bright heat of the day.

I love the perspective I get to see this world in…   and I love to share it with you 😊
